Ylana Maya - Day 4 "Petrifying"

Day 4 Imagine that your protagonist has just turned into a statue. Describe his or her thoughts. Have you ever wondered how it would feel to be a statue? Maybe your first thoughts lead towards the horror of not being able to move or maybe you take a more comical stance at the thought of suffering an itchy arse and being hopeless to scratch it, pure torture... Absolutely petrifying. A statue. A solid, inanimate, unchanging structure. Completely devoid of movement and feeling. In the middle of the abandoned building stuck with its arms mid-wave in the air, like a crazed chimpanzee protecting a young-ling; was the Statue of Sana. Her feet were firmly glued and grounded on the rocky surface that she stood upon and her face was stuck with an expression conveying complete confusion, one brow furrowed the other slightly up from it’s usual place. Her mouth was open and curved down as if she had been mid-way saying, ‘What the f***!’ at the time that the stoney illness first began...

Ylana Maya - Ideas in Motion! "Imotions"

What if I were to tell you a tale, about a person who got too close to the truth?  Who began to see past the veil and as a consequence got forced back in line with a hot plated branding stick.  What if I told you that there exists a form of nano technology, which is sent off into our atmosphere disguised as pollen? and that the purpose of this nano technology was to begin to computerise the biological system of a human? That it enters into the ear and  attaches to the brain cells and then begins to upgrade every one of the cells if you are compatible? If you're incompatible to this nanotechnology then it just serves to kill you early in life and because of how limited the general populations intelligence is, nobody is open minded enough to accept that this is caused by such technology. Most people would deny the existence of such a technology, but it is very, very real. Replaced by robots? No... Just adapted and upgraded... the next stage of human evolution... we...

Ylana Maya - Journey Update

Mental roadblocks The hardest thing about going down the path of a writer for me is the sitting down and concentrating and focusing and being able to catch up with my thoughts quick enough to be able to write the ideas down before they pop out of existence. I'm thinking the best way to tackle this issue is to have a wire which monitors my brain activity attached to a keyboard to collect and produce my thoughts into a visual format, so I can read over and edit it with ease. I'm kidding of course, I do not have access to that kind of technology... Pep talk to self: "So... Quit yo' Jibber Jabber, Ylana! Roll your sleeves up and get stuck in. You're concentration and focus will improve, just keep focusing, keep contributing to your future self and her progress. You CAN do it, don't let anybody stop you!" Thank you, self... "Thank me in 5 years, now ain't the time for recognition and praisal! Write, write, write! And if you're not writing, at...
