Myers-Briggs Personality Indicators Upon researching character development my attention has been brought to the Myers-Briggs Personality Indicator , a psychologal theory on the multiple different possible personalities. So it is important when writing up your characters, that your reader can truly connect with those characters, they need to be somewhat relatable and have an aspect of realism to them. If a character is all perfect and all knowing, that is not as relatable as a character who has it all going for them but doesn't realise their own strength, or better still a clutsy and broken character who can't do anything right other than paint! Unnatural Happiness Steering off from the path, no no no... Stay on track, do not be dragged back into the masses of lonely souls searching blindly for more. What do you want? What is your goal? She had carried her weary body through the land of the zombies, she had switched her mind off from all disaster, she had decided that there was no point wasting her efforts on fueling her fears and her insecurities anymore. She wanted to do more. To be more. And for that she needed to accept the changes occuring within her. This did not mean dumbing herself down, it meant finding something worth living for and not sweating the small stuff. The world as she knew it was falling apart but before it did she was going to enjoy it to the fullest. She didn't want to be stuck shrouded in darkness anymore, she wanted to walk the path of light, but without taking anything too seriously... The now is enough Everywhere she looked, everything was bright. The cool breeze brushed against her cheeks, making her relax, a smile on her face. The birds outside sang their songs of beauty and life... Spring was on it's way and wonder was returning to the air. The sky was clear, painted with various colours, pinks, purples, greens and a beautiful shade of blue. She looked around, she could feel the love radiating on and through the world around her. All is well, all is going to be fine. No need to worry, no need to fret, no need to obsess over the darkness. She felt whole in her emptiness and her breath remained calm and steady, the cool air flowing into her lungs with ease and clarity returning to her world. If she could freeze time, she would choose now, in that moment. Everything which surrounded her was bursting with light and love and she did not feel any anxiety for the future. She knew in these moments, every thing was going to be alright. Keep going she told herse...

Every night was the same for little Jennifer, she always struggled to go to sleep in that room... The surface of her skin would become cold, she would feel each individual hair on her arms stand tall, her breathing would deepen, her heart rate would beat at the rhythm of shamanic drums which would push her deeper and deeper into a trance of dispair and discomfort. She would feel a pressure on her chest and she would be unable to move, not even a finger. All she could move was her eyes. When she did open her eyes she would see shadows in her periphery and it would usually lead to more disparity so she had learned to keep her eyes shut and remain calm... She knew how it went... Mental roadblocks The hardest thing about going down the path of a writer for me is the sitting down and concentrating and focusing and being able to catch up with my thoughts quick enough to be able to write the ideas down before they pop out of existence. I'm thinking the best way to tackle this issue is to have a wire which monitors my brain activity attached to a keyboard to collect and produce my thoughts into a visual format, so I can read over and edit it with ease. I'm kidding of course, I do not have access to that kind of technology... Pep talk to self: "So... Quit yo' Jibber Jabber, Ylana! Roll your sleeves up and get stuck in. You're concentration and focus will improve, just keep focusing, keep contributing to your future self and her progress. You CAN do it, don't let anybody stop you!" Thank you, self... Peculiarity in life's breath Solitude, the true home of peace? It is in solitude, where all becomes clear. All darkness of self, all understanding, the messages of fate, where are we to go, what are we to do? Just breathe, fate knows the way, follow her... Everyone in this world is out for themselves, and this seriously hurts to realise... For me to integrate with the world... I have to join in with the selfish culture... I...

A world held by fate, the fate of the gods... Time and time again, when will it come to an end? The nature of reality, it is pointless to contemplate, just know to create. That's all we are, creators and destroyers. We create our lives, our personalities, our relationships, our art, our theories, we... It's all created by existence itself.... And then after a little while of marvelling at what we've created we destroy everything we work so hard to create just so the cycle will repeat, this is infinity, this is why people have been killing themselves, they have simply become fed up of this infinite spiral leading seemingly nowhere. This is apparently what it means to be a god, you get to create and enter an infinite cycle of creation and destruction, to some... This is hell... To others this is true heaven. So freeing a realisation but in truly realising the truth of nature we come to a point where all our efforts seem somewhat futile... Build the world up and evolve on...

A Hopeless Romantics Attempt at Fanfic - Adventure to Atlantis Many of you reading this will be very familiar with the story of the little mermaid... But there's a lot the story tellers did not make known... Ariel was not just a pretty little defenseless mermaid, she was actually a siren. A Peculiar Profile - The cosmic reality of the Rarr... What is the Rarr you ask? Or rather Who? The Rarr, my beautiful readers, is a little etheric ball of light, whom of which exists within the realms of the Fae... A Faerie Tale - The River and the Gnome King One bitter winter morning, the Gnome King made his way to the forest and sat by a grand Oak tree beside the everflowing river... On this day, the Gnome King was in fact fishing for his future wife and well... Quite embarrassingly he mistook the flow of the river for that future wife! He spoke to his reflection in the waters, he spoke about taking action in the rivers flow... He believed that the flow was why he would find that wife, for much of life was sustained within the flow of a river and he knew his goal and if there was one place he could find his future wife, he knew it would most definitely be within that river...
