A Tale of New Beginnings - The Flow of Adventure

There was once a girl very confused about the world... She was a very intelligent being, with an impressively broad mind and a curious set of interests... She found understanding within; and easily developed her abilities towards most things... She was talented but also misdirected.

She could grasp complex mathematics, she understood very elaborate scientific theories, she could understand the complexities of human behaviour and interaction, she could also find truth in pretty much everyone and everything, she saw patterns and connections in absolutely everything.... Her mind was so open and her possibilities limitless.

As amazing as this must sound and look to those who hear her story and see her talents... It was a crippling experience for her... She would frequently become lost in her world of unlimited understanding and inner knowledge... She felt isolated by her expansive mind, because in this world you can not do it all, all at once... You have to take your time to master one thing at a time if you wish to become successful...
She realised this, but having so many options... it just left her stuck looking out at all the different life paths she could take and instead of just deciding something and going for it she would sit and ponder for hours and hours. What exactly should she be doing?
... This pondering about what she should do... Well, ironically it meant that she wouldn't do anything at all!


One day this girl stumbled upon the understanding that is Taoism, she thought it was quite funny that the Tao taught the ways of flowing like a river... For her name... was that of a river...
she had got herself into quite a lot of questionable places by simply flowing aimlessly and letting life take her.
Nonetheless, the ways of the Tao truly resonated with her as she had no clue what she was meant to be doing and this was one of the first things she had read about that made her think that her aimlessness was an okay place to be in life... It was the first ideology that said to her, 'don't worry, my child, just flow and all shall become clear to you, all rivers lead to the ocean, be patient and become the water, flow everywhere, fit into those cracks between the rocks, flow over and around those very same rocks, be the waters that harness so much life and don't resist your flow... For one day, you will know'.
Funny enough...
After many misdirected and magnificent adventures... This girl grew into the Goddess of the river... The woman she was meant to be...
She became a writer! 

Now being a writer was no easy task... It would require commitment on her part. But the beautiful thing about being a writer is that it was necessary to unveil the many truths of existence, this was something that this woman knew all too well about, she had in fact devoted her entire life to the search for truths! She had unknowingly began her journey towards being a writer from a very young age.
And so it was to be... She picked up her pen and notebook.... And she wrote frantically!
She wrote about everything, she wrote about her thoughts and feelings, she wrote about the many characters she had always known so well in her own mind and she wrote about how to become a writer and she wrote about the profoundness of life.


And this is just the beginning of that very story.... The story of a girl, lost in her flow, finding her way back to share the stories of many... So far untold...

She, at the ripe old age of 33; lived a life of mystery... For, her demons would so often show her the way and she had no intent to disobey! The right path never seemed all that right for her. Maybe she didn't feel she deserved the path of the righteous or maybe she figured out at a young age that really it made no difference which path you walked as long as you chose the right path for you?
